This was one of the early houses , located in the suburbs of Colombo City strongly expressing a building tradition that takes its cues from the central courtyard or 'meda midula'. The spatial choreography expresses the personality of the owners: That of refined intellectuality with a strong taste for tradition, and a love for nature.
