THE NAM JUN PAIK MUSEUM

Building as a platform for Art.

The project is considered not merely as an exhibition gallery for the works of South Korean Media artist, Nam Jun Paik, but also as a dedicated “Museum”. It thus assumes a significance, not only as a cultural monument to the region (Kyonggi) but also on a National level depicting the rich traditions of Art and Culture of the people of South Korea.

The building is thus considered as a 'Platform for Art' and contextualized as a “Celebration” ...of

1. The artist's work, thinking and philosophy
2. The cultural heritage of Korea and its 'nature based' grounding and tradition of 'performance art's.
